The design of the lecture or seminar initiates and guides your students' learning processes. Design elements in this context mean the preparation of the learning content as well as the selection of methods and media. On our website we would like to introduce you to the possibilities that the use of digital media offers you when it comes to designing your teaching.

In our view, digital media should always complement and support face-to-face teaching. It is our goal to achieve a contemporary and appropriate combined effect of all didactic and media-based options to achieve an overall improvement in teaching – whether analogue or digital.

Inspiration for your teaching practice

Inverted Classroom at the German Seminar
There is little time for input during the event. If students can learn the course content in advance, there will be more time for discussion and in-depth study during the seminar.

Blended Learning in GIS education
Offering course content online enables students to learn more independently. Content provided in the LMS can also be used by students after the course has ended.

Online teaching

Online courses: Offering lectures and seminars online
Interactive online seminars: Designing live events, engaging students, avoiding frustration
