Participants LQL-Review

Evaluation Units

The LQL-Reviews refer to evaluation units that encompass several related programmes of study, usually within a faculty or teaching unit. The clustering is carried out by the ZQS/Quality Assurance in conjunction with the faculties, teaching units and study programmes. Alongside resource efficiency, clustering allows a focus on the quality of the higher-level structures and the evaluation of individual study programmes in the context of the overarching unit in each case.

Internal Experts

LQL commissioners

For every LQL-Review, a cross-status review team is formed, made up of a pool of LQL commissioners delegated by the faculties. The LQL-Review team evaluates the written documents, carries out consultations with the evaluation units, indicates needs for action and gives recommendations for further quality development. The conferral of the LQL seal and thus internal accreditation by the board requires a positive vote by the LQL-Review team.

More information on the selection of the LQL commissioners and the composition of the LQL-Review team can be found in the Regulations for the “Leibniz Quality in Teaching (LQL)” Programme.

The monitoring of internal framework conditions and legal and national structural conditions is carried out by the ZQS/Quality Assurance in collaboration with the responsible subject departments and administrative units of Leibniz University Hannover.
