Course Content:
Everyone is talking about sustainability, but what does that mean in concrete terms and how can sustainable management, production, and living work? In this seminar, we will look at the concepts of Circular Economy and Cradle to Cradle, which demonstrate how this can be achieved.
We will focus on the current state of the sustainability discourse and explore how circular economy works. Furthermore, we will discuss what Cradle to Cradle is and what opportunities it offers. On top of this, this seminar will explore where Cradle to Cradle is already being implemented and what it takes to implement a Cradle to Cradle in every economy.
Learning Goals:
Students …
- gain an overview of the current sustainability discourse.
- gain basic knowledge about Circular Economy and Cradle to Cradle.
- gain awareness of and understand common arguments and solutions within the sustainability debate.
Study Performance:
Regular attendance and active participation, independent involvement in exercises, reflecting on exercises and seminar content, presentation of work results, completion of occurring tasks, independent preparation of content and materials (also between the course days).
