Course Evaluation

The University Law of Lower Saxony (NHG) stipulates that universities should assess the fulfilment of their tasks in research and teaching at regular intervals through an internal evaluation. The students should be allowed to evaluate teaching courses. 

For the fulfilment of this task, the EvaSys survey software has been installed. Using this evaluation system, it is possible to carry out targeted surveys on lectures, seminars, tutorials and other types of activity.

The organisational execution of course evaluation takes place with the participation of the academic commission in the respective dean’s office.

If you, as a member of the teaching staff, have questions on the evaluation of your courses, please contact the relevant dean’s office.

Following on from course evaluation, the ZQS/Quality Assurance calculates the Teaching Quality Index (LQI) for the individual courses and creates a course-related report for the responsible dean’s office, from which any potential actions required can be derived in a transparent manner.
