Tips and guides for teaching content in an interactive way
In the online introductory course ‘digitaLe’, students and teachers can discover new teaching and learning formats and develop their digital skills. The programme is particularly aimed at trainee teachers who wish to enhance their digital skills with a view to their future teaching careers.

Promoting digital skills and further developing the ability of students and teachers to act in a reflective manner – these are the objectives of digitaLe. In addition to the technical use of digital tools and methods, the programme also covers the areas of knowledge acquisition and transfer.
Communication via digital channels requires guidelines and an awareness of how to manage one’s personal digital identity securely. Acting reflectively in a digitalised world means participating in it. At a professional level, this promotes online management, which also enables one to deal securely with disruptions and attacks on the internet.
Online introductory course
The online introductory course offers ideas on how to make teaching processes more interactive. The aim is to use the possibilities offered by digital technologies in teaching to inspire creativity in the design of your own lessons and seminars. At the same time, participants will explore the didactical potential of these technologies and examine them critically.
In addition to definitions of key terms, the introductory course also includes guidance
- on creating explanatory videos,
- on presentations with specialist content,
- on designing teaching using social media,
- on collaborative working methods and group work,
- and on forms of digital and self-directed learning.
The introductory course can be completed online and at your own pace via the ILIAS learning management system. It is open to the public and can be started at any time.
