The ZQS/elsa offers a series of event formats for teaching staff and for students. The goal is, on the one hand, to provide information on the use of digital media for both teaching and learning, and, on the other, to support the use of the various methods and tools.

Lunchtime lecture

Every first Friday of the month, 12 noon - 1.30 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas about teaching with digital media over a joint lunch. At each lecture a methodical approach will be chosen to be presented. After a brief introduction to the topic, teachers will report on their experiences with specific methods and media. The "Lunchtime lecture" is held once a month in the ZQS/elsa rooms and is open to anyone who is interested.

Getting together to eat and talk – about everything to do with teaching and learning – is the motto of the 90-minute event. Typical subjects are new methods, media or formats in teaching. A short talk on the chosen subject serves as a stimulus for discussion and experience sharing. The event is usually held on the first Friday of the month from 12 noon - 1.30 p.m.

You can register on Stud.IP under "Teaching at the Leibniz University Hannover" or by e-mail. Participants are also welcome to bring along their own topics; please let us know about your desired topics or ideas in the course Wiki in Stud.IP.

Question time

At the beginning of the winter semester

This event, which is held every year at the beginning of the winter semester, gives the students a concise introduction to the online services at Leibniz University Hannover. The two-hour event is held one day after the President’s welcome address to the first semester students, in the atrium of the "Welfenschloss".
