ZQS/elsa supports teaching staff with services related to digital media in university teaching. Our services include media didactic and technical consulting as well as the production of AV media and learning content, the recording of lectures and the operation of the learning management systems Stud.IP and ILIAS. In addition, we identify new areas of application for digital media. These include electronic examinations and the use of diverse learning arrangements.
Our topics – our work areas
-
Media Didactis
We advise and inform teachers of all disciplines on how they can use digital media creatively, interactively and in a way that promotes learning in their online and face-to-face teaching. We refer to established and innovative e-learning methods and tailor our approach to the individual wishes and circumstances of each teaching situation.
-
Media Production
ZQS/elsa offers high-quality film productions. There are no limits to the creative possibilities. Our staff will assist you in filming learning arrangements, designing animations and realising film projects. We are also happy to support you with our expertise in the independent creation of videos.
-
Recordings & Media Technology
Flowcasts refers to the event recording system used by ZQS/elsa. It allows entire lecture series or individual events to be recorded, produced and published in real time. The technical setup, live editing and subsequent production are handled by trained ZQS/elsa staff, so that the lecturer is not burdened with additional work when using this recording system.
-
IT & web-based systems
We operate the most important learning management systems at Leibniz University ourselves. The leading system is Stud.IP, which is used to support classroom teaching. It is supplemented by the ILIAS learning management system, which can be used in blended learning scenarios, supports electronic examinations and provides learning modules.
-
Support
Stud.IP, ILIAS, event recordings, online learning modules and much more are part of everyday life in studying and teaching. Access to materials does not always work, or there may be problems accessing our platforms. If you have any questions or problems, or if you are simply interested in working, learning and living with digital media, E-Learning Support offers help and assistance.
Note on the terms and conditions for teachers
Support services and initial media didactics consultations are free of charge for members of Leibniz University Hannover. However, the time-consuming support involved in implementing learning scenarios or examinations, producing media and creating recordings will be charged on a time and material basis. Costs will also be incurred for projects that may be set up in collaboration with university institutions to meet specific requirements.
Services for students are generally free of charge.
