1723: Communication the English Way

Course Content:

What is communication? How do we get a message or information across in an effective way? How can we avoid misunderstandings?
Together we will look at important aspects of communicating in English and practice skills involved in effective communication. Practical demonstrations, discussions, group activities, role plays, and presentation of group exercises will be used to develop our understanding of communication.
Topics covered include: Effective Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Giving & Accepting Criticism and Feedback, Body Language, and Conflict Resolution.
The seminar is carried out in English, therefore a good level of English is necessary to understand the topics.

Learning Goals:

Learning focus is how to communicate, in English, in different social and professional situations.

Study Performance:

Full attendance and active participation, involving in practical exercises and role play, reflecting of practical exercises, presenting of work results, completion of possible tasks between the course days, seminar language is English
