Course Content:
Being a student is a full-time job that comes with a lot of responsibilities, demands and stresses of its own. Many students also have a part-time job and some are living in a new country for the first time. All of this requires additional resources. Then there is the basic need to spend quality time with friends and family.

How can students manage these different roles and its requirements and also lead a balanced life? By learning early on how to organize, prioritize and manage time. This can help to stay focused and to reach set goals and objectives.

Also, by developing interpersonal skills such as establishing good rapport, conflict management, and flexibility in thinking can promote effective communication with professors and fellow students.

Moreover, our current VUCA world (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous), demands developing new muscles such as resilience for coping with different challenges.

Only a combination of skill sets can help to reach academic, professional and personal goals. It can also save a lot of time and prevent unnecessary stress in the long run.

Learning Goals:

  • Setting goals, priorities and time management
  • Developing interpersonal skills; effective communication and conflict management
  • Coping mechanism for dealing with stress and ways to develop resilience
